What is Nomad Steam?
Nomad Steam is a mobile, wood fired, tent-based sauna experience. Our mission is to create joyful, unique, and accessible sauna experiences that allow you to encounter the depth and richness of sweat bathing culture outdoors in contact with the elements.
In our experience the best saunas have socialization and interaction with nature as core components. We are doing our best to share this type experience with our communities, because it has made our lives sooo much more fun, interesting, and wholesome.
Who is Nomad Steam
Nomad steam was founded by Dustin and Dylan who met, naturally, in a sauna on Lake Superior.
Dylan’s love of sauna blossomed slowly over years of visits to friend’s cabins’ saunas, gym saunas, sauna festivals, shady public saunas, and international visits. If it gets hot enough to sweat he’ll give it a try. He’s a yoga teacher, trail runner and climber.
Dustin is a human sized sauna gnome gifted in the art of whisking. He loves sauna <3

Symbology
We love the nomad lifestyle. As founders of Nomad Steam we have traveled extensively and lived in distant lands, and now with sauna tents we are able to combine the joy of sweat with the freedom of exploration.
Our logo features a sauna tent framed by two Bactrian camels. Camels have long been used by nomads from north Africa to the Mongolian steppe as pack animals and many people associate the camel with drinking and holding a lot of water which is something you should always remember to do when taking a sauna.
Our colors are shades of earth tones to symbolize our love of taking a sauna and then stepping out into the elements.
